RadEye™ Sensors

The RadEye large-area image sensors are fully integrated CMOS photodiode arrays designed for both visible and radiation imaging. The large active area consists of a 512 by 1024 matrix of silicon photodiodes on either 48 µm (RadEye1) or 96 µm (RadEye100) centers. The sensors are designed with extremely narrow edges along three sides to allow tiling in two dimensions, in order to achieve even larger active areas. Read more...

Shad-o-Box™ Cameras

The Shad-o-Box x-ray camera is a high-performance, high-resolution x-ray imaging device designed for real-time digital radiography applications. Each camera model combines a RadEye-series x-ray sensor module with appropriate readout electronics and a 12- to 14-bit digital interface for easy connection to a PC-based frame grabber. Shad-o-Snap™ Cameras

The Shad-o-Snap x-ray cameras are designed for ease of use and portability by featuring a plug-and-play USB interface. These microprocessor-based cameras offer simple timing control combined with new readout modes and easy image transfers as TIFF or raw integer image files. The USB connection installs in seconds, and built-in Windows drivers are automatically loaded to communicate with the camera. Remote RadEye™ Systems

The Remote RadEye detachable x-ray sensor is designed to fit into tight spaces that are too small to fit a complete imaging camera. The Remote RadEye sensor module is available in several different sensor sizes, and sits at the end of a detachable cable that can reach into tiny corners. The camera electronics are mounted in a separate enclosure which can be placed up to one meter away. While designed for portable NDT applications, the Remote RadEye can also be used in fixed installations. Read more...

Software

The ShadoCam Imaging Software is available free of charge to help you get up and running quickly with your Rad-icon x-ray camera. ShadoCam provides basic imaging functionality such as image acquisition and display, offset and flat-field corrections, image statistics, printing and file I/O. Images are displayed and stored in 16-bit integer format to preserve the full dynamic range of the camera. You can export image bitmaps via the clipboard or in various formats for use in other applications. Read more...
